Chief Executive Officer, Co-founder
Fumiki's main role is to manage the operation of the company as well as to provide high-quality alternative investment opportunities and high-quality investment returns to investors.
Prior to joining the Bee Alternatives Limited, Fumiki was a Partner of the secondary fund investment team at Ant Capital Partners, leading the LP secondary investment business. During his 10 year + tenure at Ant Capital Partners, Fumiki was involved in hundreds of LP secondary investment deals and has had an excellent track record in a wide range of investments, not only LP secondary investments but also direct secondaries and leveraged buyout investments.
Fumiki also spent time at Goldman Sachs Securities and Goldman Sachs Asset Management in Tokyo, where he commenced his private equity investment career. Prior that he worked for MUFG Bank (former Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi) and was responsible for the corporate finance sector.
Fumiki holds a Bachelors in Economics from the Gakushuin University and a Master of Letters in Finance and Management from the University of St. Andrews.
Atsuhiko is responsible for sourcing, analyzing and execution of private equity secondary transactions as well as managing the company's operation as a management member.
Prior to co-founding Bee Alternatives Ltd., Atsuhiko worked for Ant Capital Partners as a Principal of the secondary fund investment team focusing on LP secondary investments, direct secondaries and leveraged buyout investments.
Atsuhiko started his career at KPMG in both Tokyo and London where he was engaged in financial audit and financial advisory.
Atsuhiko has a Bachelors in Economics from the university of Tokyo and is a Certified Public Accountant (Japan and Washington State, USA)
Yuliang is in charge of sourcing, analyzing and execution of private equity secondary transactions as well as managing the company's operation as a management member.
Before co-founding Bee Alternatives Ltd., Yuliang was previously based in Tokyo responsible for sourcing, analyzing and executing secondary transactions at Ant Capital Partners as a Principal of the secondary fund investment team.
Prior to that, he worked as a Vice President in the private equity investment team of Mizuho Securities Principal Investment, an investment arm of Mizuho Financial Group in Japan, responsible for investment analyzing, execution and portfolio management in the private equity sector.
Previously, Yuliang was also engaged in financial advisory and corporate finance at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and CTBC Bank.
Yuliang holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from National Taiwan University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Kyoto University.
Cindy joined Bee Alternatives as a Partner responsible for developing and managing effective compliance controls to ensure that the company complies with relevant regulatory requirements as well as internal policies.
Prior to joining Bee Alternatives, Cindy was the Acting Head of Legal and Compliance / Deputy Head of Compliance in China Construction Bank Corporation Labuan Branch, overseeing legal and regulatory compliance risks for the Bank.
Prior to that, she was the Senior Compliance Manager in the investment arm of Manulife Malaysia, responsible for AML and compliance function by ensuring business operations are performed in compliance with regulatory requirements. Previously, Cindy worked with Securities Commission Malaysia in the Authorization & Licensing Department.
Cindy is a Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) holder. She holds a First Class Master of Laws (LL.M) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB.) degree from the University of the West of England, Bristol. She also graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from the University of Herefordshire.
Kiat Wei Tan
Kiat Wei is an Investment Manager of Bee Alternatives, dedicated to deal execution and fund administration.
Prior to joining Bee Alternatives, Kiat Wei was previously based in Singapore with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Singapore focusing on assurance, regulatory compliance and valuation review including advisory task for a variety of asset wealth management clients such as MAS-regulated global fund managers, private equity/debt, venture capital and hedge funds.
Kiat Wei commenced his career in Ernst and Young Malaysia, Financial Service Organisation focusing primarily on the Banking Sector and has involved extensively in the financial audit for a few of the top banking groups within the country. He was also tasked to be the team in charge of the assurance work on one of the listed REITs in Malaysia.
Kiat Wei is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and holds a First-Class Honours Degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
Esca is an Administrative Manager of Bee Alternatives, dedicated to Middle and Back office functions including deal execution and fund administration.
Prior to joining Bee Alternatives, Esca worked in Japanese Corporate Banking Department in MUFG Bank (M) Bhd for over 10 years. She was the support officer of Relationship Managers and was in charge of local and Japanese clients. Esca was sent to MUFG Bank Ltd, Tokyo in 2014 for training purposes. She has also spent time at Ritsumeikan AsiaPacific University prior to the training at Headquarter.
Esca holds a bachelor of Arts and Science Social, majoring in East Asian Studies from University of Malaya.
Compliance cum Corporate Secretarial Officer
Nabihah acts as an officer under the Legal and Compliance Division, providing support function for compliance as well as overseeing corporate secretarial matters in Bee Alternatives.
Nabihah obtained a bachelor’s degree (B.Eng.) in Manufacturing Engineering from International Islamic University Malaysia before graduated with a Master of Arts from University Teknologi MARA where she was recognized as the Excellent Candidate Award recipient.
Prior to joining Bee Alternatives, she began her career in an education consultancy company in Kuala Lumpur before deciding to relocate to Labuan. She joined the Labuan International Business Financial Centre (LIBFC) industry as an executive at a Labuan trust company, Law & Commerce Trust Limited and was in charge in handling relevant secretarial and tax matters.
